This week’s guest is Dave Palumbo. Dave was one of the freakiest competitive bodybuilders to ever step on stage. After retiring from competition, he went on to  become the Editor-in-Chief of Muscular Development Magazine. He then founded RxMuscle.com, Species Nutrition and is also a contest prep coach for both professional and aspiring amateur bodybuilders. Recently, Dave Palumbo has become a father and he joins the Dad Bros Show to share his experiences with fatherhood and much more. (26:40)

The Dad Bros kick off the show continuing their terrible sports coverage with NCAA something or other. After the break, Jon gives an update on his eye problem. Glasses are being developed that automatically adjust to what the wearer is looking at. PlayStation is entering the Virtual Reality market and Jon sees promise in it for H1Z1 and other zombie games.

UFC 196 marks the end of the positive thinking era for The Dad Bros Show as Conor McGregor and his Law of Attraction go down to Nate Diaz. Josh is impressed with Miesha Tate’s win over Holly Holm and is more entertained by female athletes than he used to be. Jon sees the new Ghostbusters trailer fort he first time and gives his reaction and Josh asks why we care so much in the first place. After the break, The Dad Bros congratulate Engineero on his newborn son. A man catches his 15 year old son in the shower with a 29 year old woman. Anonymous claims to have hacked Donald Trump’s phone.

This episode of the Dad Bros Show starts off on the lighter side with NFL hopeful Chris Jones having an unfortunate shorts malfunction during his Combine 40 yard dash. Josh is thrown off by a multivitamin gummy for men. Jon’s daughter experiences her first fall off of a horse. After enduring the agony of his ophthalmologist’s midivil torture techniques, Jon receives some unpleasant news that leads to more painful treatment.

After the break, the DadBros talk about a selfie stick for MacBooks, a Belfie stick for butt-selfies, Fitbit’s Blaze that might take customers from the Apple Watch market, Keezel is a device that will allow you to surf public WiFi safely and Apple’s new iPhone will be much smaller than the last versions.

The show exits with a Dad Bros Hotline (844-DAD-Talk) update call from a listener that is about to become a father for the 3rd time. This call will be revisited on the next episode.

The Dad Bros talk about Netflix’s new series, Fuller House which leads to introducing Jon to Ray Comfort and his miracle banana. The last few days have been very nice weather, so Jon is able to get his mailbox fixed while his wife goes out to pole dancing classes and 80’s night parties. Alton Brown used to have a podcast but is probably too busy to keep up with it due to a schedule that includes Cut Throat Kitchen. For sports coverage, Josh and Jon talk about the last UFC Fight Night featuring Anderson Silva vs Michael Bisping and the upcoming UFC 196 Conor McGregor vs Nate Diaz fight.

After the break, the Dad Bros see a commercial with it’s message for men to #SharetheLoad is going viral. Lego is introducing a new Stay-at-Home Dad Minifigure (SAHD little man?). A woman is trying to get a new trend started where breast feeding other people’s kids is a thing. A Texas school introduces more playground time that leads to better results in the classroom.

Jon has an issue with a cabinet falling off the wall. Home improvement projects aren’t getting done. Severe weather is coming to town. Josh talks about a friendship breakfast at his kids’ school and a tough homework question. Before the break,  things kids say that create awkward situations.

After the break, there seems to be competition for the best beards on Beam. An update on how a lion hunting band in Zimbabwe is working out, the law of unintended consequences and how Americans don’t understand other cultures around the world. Jon starts drinking tea. The Dad Bros also discuss getting your kids to eat greens, 5G service testing, advertising, Amazon stops selling hover boards and a BuzzFeed video about if Moms were treated like Dads.

A photo with Mark Zuckerberg walking through an Oculus wearing crowd makes some uncomfortable about the future. It’s long been known that some men make the locker room uncomfortable for other men, but one guy in Seattle may have found a way around this by changing with the women because “The law has changed”.

Josh is recovering from a cold, but is pressing on. Jon’s youngest daughter has been making sleep difficult for Jon. Then, Dad Bros reminisce about taking family trips and review some parenting advice that you should ignore…or should you?

After the break, a high school senior buys a carnation for every girl in his school. A UK school has to send a letter home telling parents to stop smoking pot at the school gate. Why are kids such good liars. To wrap up the show, the Dad Bros abandon a story about Stay-at-Home-Dads looking for a group to talk about guy relationships.
