The Dad Bros give their best wishes to those dealing with the effects of Hurricane Harvey. Josh and Jon then share their thoughts on the big “fight” between Floyd Mayweather and Conor McGregor, including Boxing vs MMA and how amazingly well Conor handled defeat.

After the break, the Dad Bros try to get their head around just how a New Jersey Dad was able to launch the family car car over a drawbridge in order to save his family from certain doom. After recapping the Drink of the Show, the boys read an article about a 112 year old New Jersey woman that claimed alcohol was the secret to her longevity. In Japan, a man has started a company where you can rent a Dad (or other people) and Josh and Jon think it might work in the United States.

The DadBros learn if cows swim?

Longtime friend of the Dad Bros Show, Don Hudson of SeaHorses notoriety joins the Dad Bros to talk about the upcoming Home Dad Con on September 14 – 16 in Portland, Oregon. Don also talks about his new book Dadly Dollars, Ted Talks, YouTube Channel and motorcycle riding.   Another previous guest of the Dad Bros show, Aaron Cantwell joins in to give a rundown of what to expect at Home Dad Con as well as announce his band Micah and Me album.

Jon recaps his trip to South Carolina to view the solar eclipse. The Dad Bros are excited for Floyd Mayweather vs Conor MacGregor and Josh tries to convince the doubters why MacGregor stands a chance and what it could mean for you.

Josh and Jon commiserate on their misophonia spurring arguments with the spouses. A fake baby shower pity party tweet scams the Twitterverse out of baby gifts and donations.

Piggybacking on the Drink of the Show, the Dad Bros take a look at an article claiming certain alcoholic beverages may lower diabetes risk. The show gets cringy when Josh & Jon watch a video of parents explaining masturbation to their kids.

The summer travels are over and the the boys are back in studio after a couple weeks of shortened shows. The fallout from Battle Beers seems to be the DadBros have lost beer credibility.
